FRANCISCAN SISTERS

OF PERPETUAL ADORATION

The Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration have been ministering to communities in Iowa, Montana, Nevada, Washington and Wisconsin – in addition to a number of international locations – for well over a century.  Their ministry includes perpetual prayer before the Blessed Sacrament, health care services, and education from kindergarten through their Viterbo University in La Crosse.  A vast number of students, parents and communities in Clark County and adjoining areas have benefited enormously from their education, their moral and ethical guidance to young and old alike and, most significantly, their exquisite example.  My sister Lorraine entered the FSPA when I was only two years old, so I have been impressed by and in awe of their activities all my life.

Please check out their Web Site:  http://www.fspa.org and look more closely at their history and activities.  I am appending a photo of their Mary of the Angels Chapel and Altar.  As their name indicates, a number of their members pray continuously for our intentions in the Blessed Sacrament Oratory which is located behind the revolving altar.

When you are next in La Crosse, please visit St. Rose Convent and witness deep faith, dedication, consummate kindness and excellence at work.
