The Christ Kippenhan Stave and Heading Mill Operated in Greenwood in the early 1900's until destroyed by fire.  It stood at the site of the present United Building Center, 517 South Main, Greenwood.

 

The surrey with the fringe on top was the modern transportation for the Hal B. J Andrus family.  Seated with hi is his wife, Ethel Caldwell Andrus.  In back from left to right are Flossie Leason Bennett, Dorothy Andrus Vanderhoeve and Vera Andrus.  Mr. Andrus had one of the first butter factories in Clark County at the turn of the century.
