Heimbach, Alfred (18 Mar 1913 – 22 Apr 1976)

Services were held Saturday at 1:30 p.m. for Alfred Heimbach, age 63, at the Kraut-Maurina Funeral Home, Abbotsford.

The Rev. Robin Fink of Zion Lutheran Church, Colby, officiated. Burial followed at the Abbotsford Public Cemetery.

Mr. Heimbach died Thursday at the Veteran’s Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota.

He was born March 18, 1913 in Tomahawk. He attended Pleasant Hill School. At the age of three he moved to Abbotsford.

During World War II he served in the U.S. Army. He moved to Watkins after his army discharge.

Survivors include two brothers, John and Walter, both of Curtiss, and two sisters, Mrs. Solomon (Emma) Krause, Curtiss, and Mrs. George (Gertrude) Koffarnus, Colby.
