Kathy Strasser, Wausau, and Mark Rannow, Colby, were united in marriage Saturday, December 11, 1976 at Rib Mountain Lutheran Church, Wausau, during a 4 p.m. ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Strasser, Wausau, and Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Rannow, Colby.

Debra Coyer, Merrill, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Bronwyn Rannow, Colby, sister of the bridegroom, Sally Tieta, Wausau, Rebecca Kilgore, Woodruff, and Sue Strasser, Wausau, sister of the bride.

Les Willner, Colby, was best man for the bridegroom. Jeff Strasser, Wausau, brother of the bride, Bill Neitzel, Colby, Ross Rannow, Colby, cousin of the bridegroom, and Charles Jantsch, Abbotsford, were groomsmen.

Completing the wedding party were ushers Gary Ellenbecker, Dorchester, and Bill Gottschalk, Colby.

The bride graduated from Wausau West High School in 1975 and is currently attending the University of Wisconsin, Marathon Center, Wausau. The bridegroom graduated from Colby High School in 1973 and received an associate degree in auto mechanics from North Central Technical Institute, Antigo. He is employed by Rannow Cabinet and Supply, Colby.
