NHS Class of 1939 (40 Year – 7 July 1979)

The Neillsville High School Class of 1939 gathered again for their 40th graduation anniversary on Saturday evening, July 7, at the Neillsville Country Club.

After a prayer for deceased members, prizes were awarded to Grace (Kauffman) Arnold, who traveled the farthest; Betty (Scherer) Malone, first to respond; Bethel (Asplin) Armitage, door prize; Lydia (Schoenherr) Blaney, wearer of class ring; Rose (Rosandich) Langan, longest reservation; and Betty (Casler) Nelson, drawing winner.

Guests at the event include Mr. and Mrs. John Perkins of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Conlee of Waukesha and Mr. and Mrs. Verne Jewett of Cupertino, Calif.
