Johnson, Carl Elmer (23 July 1925-21 February 1982)

WHEELING, ILLINOIS-- Carl E. Johnson, 56, formerly of Stanley area,
died Monday in Holy Family Hospital, Des Plaines, Illinois.

Born in Stanley, he served in the Army in World War II and married
Dorothy Yaeger in 1960 at Ladysmith. They lived in the Sheldon and
Stanley area until moving to Wheeling, Illinois, in 1965.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Robin, Mount Prospect,
Illinois, Shari Maynard, Mundelein, Illinois, June, at home; four
brothers, Robert, Salem, Missouri, Arnie, Greenwood, Everett, Thorp,
Donald, Fontana; two sisters, Dorothea Baumgarten, Stanley, Marie
Truchinski, Loyal; and five grandchildren.

Services will be Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, with burial
in East Side Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday at Plombon Funeral
Home, Stanley and Thursday at the church.
