Tresemer, Nancy Jean (30 March 1939 – 11 March 2019)

Nancy J. Tresemer, 79, of Neillsville, passed away Monday, March 11, 2019 at Neillsville Care and Rehab facility under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice of Marshfield.

Nancy was born March 30, 1939, to Fern (Olson) and Albert Holt of Neillsville. Nancy graduated from Neillsville High Class of 1957.

On June 1, 1957, she was united in marriage to Edward Tresemer at the Methodist Church in Neillsville. Nancy held various jobs in Neillsville, including at Urban Sales and Service, Clark County Courthouse and Figi’s.

Nancy enjoyed playing cards, reading, bowling, which she was involved with the WIBC for many years, and her family.

She is survived by three children: Judy (Dennis) Buchholz, Tim (Lori) Tresemer of Neillsville and Diane (Tom) Firnstahl of Colby; nine grandchildren: Jill, Dustin, Jenny, Kristine, Tiffany, Eric, Amy, Pam and Josh; 13 great-grandchildren: Colton, Tyler, Andrew, Evan, Leah, Zoey, Natalie, Fletcher, Baylee, Alexis, Makayla, Ben and Landon. She is further survived by two sisters: Shirley Zager of St. Cloud, MN, and Kay Kent of Winona, MN; a brother-in-law, Jerry Johnson of Neillsville; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Edward, of 61 years on Feb. 28, 2019. A daughter and son-in-law, Marcia and David Lewis; her parents, Fern and Albert Holt; one grandson, Kurtis Tresemer; and three siblings: Barbara Henchen, Mary Ellen Johnson and William Holt; and brothers-in-law: Robert Zager and Louis Henchen.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 30, 2019, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Apple Valley Restaurant for Nancy Jean and Edward E. Tresemer.
