The Abbotsford Boy Scouts, for the first time in their recorded history, will be conducting a Eagle Scout award ceremony.

George Kelsey, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Kelsey of Abbotsford (Clark Co., Wis.), has earned the award, which will be presented Wednesday, March 11, 1970, in a special ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church Hall.

The public ceremony will begin at 7 p.m.

Bill Wenuzel Sr. of Marshfield, the Ojibwa District O & E chairman, will be in charge of the eagle ceremony, assisted by Herman Schultz of Marshfield, the District Cub Scout round table chairman.

The award itself will be presented by a person to be named by George. Frank Nikolay will act as master of ceremonies, and other Ojibwa district officers and chairmen will be present.

The evening will also be a court of honor for Abbotsford Troop 621. Merit badges, troop officer patches and tenderfoot, scond and first class advancement awards will also be made by Scoutmaster Tom Kittel

The public is asked to attend the awards ceremonies.

Troop 621 is sponsored by the Abbotsford Chamber of Commerce.

A lunch will be served after the ceremonies by the women of the church, through the courtesy of the chamber of commerce.
