Canned fruits and vegetables, dried fruits, canned soups and baby foods, as well as frozen vegetables and fruits, are included in the OPA rationing order which starts about March 1.

Fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as home canned fruits and vegetables will not be counted against ration coupons.

Rationing will be 48 points per person during March, regardless of age or occupation. After midnight, Feb. 20, no canned fruits or vegetables will be sold until March 1.

This will enable grocers to get their stocks in shape, as each can, bottle or package on the new ration list will be released after Feb. 20.

The first task of all householders will be to inventory their pantries as of midnight, Feb. 20.
