Ella Anna Maria Mueller, 95, Mount Vernon, Washington, died July 3,
1996, at Skagit Valley Convalescent Center in Sedro-Woolley.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at Hansen Funeral Chapel. The Rev.
John Schneck of Immanuel Lutheran Church will officiate. Music will be
provided by soloist Gary Mauritz and organist Maldon Plank.

Burial will take place at the Salem Lutheran Cemetery in Veefkind,
Wisconsin. Friends and relatives will serve as pallbearers.

A visitation was also held on July 6, 1996 at Kern's Funeral Home in
Mount Vernon.

She was born May 31, 1901, in Garden Valley, Wisconsin to Phillip and
Elizabeth Louisa (Zimmerman) Giloy, the oldest of 10 children. She was
educated in Garden Valley. She was married John Mueller on June 11,
1919, and settled on a farm near Spencer. They homesteaded the farm and
spent many happy years there. After he died at the age of 65 in 1952,
she moved to Mount Vernon, Washington.

Mrs. Mueller was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church of Mount
Vernon. She worked in many capacities in the church; teaching Sunday
School, singing in the choir, participating in women's groups and
playing the organ. She particularly enjoyed the Upward Club.

Mrs. Mueller had an active and happy life. She enjoyed many hobbies.
She taught piano lesson for many years. She was an avid fisherwoman,
spending many happy hours fishing the lake and rivers of Washington
State, Wisconsin and Canada. She also enjoyed oil and acrylic painting.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Elly
Mueller of Marshfield and Richard and Irene Mueller of Milwaukee; a
daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Robert Forsyth of Mount Vernon,
Washington; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, three sister and six
brothers.
