Geiger, Minnie (27 MAR 1889 – 8 DEC 1969)

Mrs. Minnie Geiger, 80, of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), died Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital at Marshfield.

The Rev. Gerald Schuh officiated at the funeral services Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, Dorchester, and burial was made in the parish cemetery (Dorchester Memorial South). The Maurina Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

The former Minnie Wittman was born March 27, 1889 at Darboy, Wisconsin. She received her education there. Her marriage to Mr. Geiger took place May 18, 1908, at Darboy.

For 38 years they operated farm in the town of Mayville (Clark Co.), and then moved to the village of Dorchester. Mr. Geiger died November 9, 1966.

She is survived by five sons, Bernard of Colby, Arthur of Stetsonville, and Clarence, Irving and Sylvester, all of Dorchester, and two daughters, Mrs. Henry (Isabelle) Kauer and Mrs. Lawrence (Adeline) Heindl, both of Dorchester.

There are 27 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
