Donegan, Laverne John "Jack" (27 January 1916-2 January 1989)


Pittsville--LaVerne "Jack" Donegan, 72, Pittsville, died Monday at
his home.

A memorial mass will be Friday at St. Joachim's Catholic Church in
Pittsville. The Rev. George Stashek will officiate. Cremains will be
interred in Restlawn Memorial Park in Wisconsin Rapids.

There is no visitation. Taylor Funeral Home, Wisconsin Rapids,
handled the arrangements.

He was born January 27, 1916, in Colby, to John and Alice Donegan.

He married Myrtle L. Hebert October 19, 1934.

He worked for many years as a baker before working as a salesman for
32 years for the Hartle Monument Co. He was president of the Restlawn
Cemetery Cemetery Association in Wisconsin Rapids.

He was a mamber of St. Joachim's Catholic Church, the Holy Name
Society, the Knights of Columbus. the Shamrock Club, United Commercial
Travelers, and the Wisconsin Rapids Elks Lodge No. 693.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle; three daughters, Sister Sara Jean
Dongean DDS of Elm Grove, Colleen Zier and Cathleen Pavloski both of
Wisconsin Rapids, and Evelynne Donegan of Pittsville; five
granddaughters; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters and one brother.
