Stebner, Marian R. (Soward) (6 MAR 1934 - 31 JAN 2019)
Marian R. Stebner, 84, formerly of Gilman, died on Thursday, Jan. 31, 2019 at Care Partner Care Center-Eau Claire under the care of St. Joseph’s Hospice.
Marian was born on March 6, 1934, to the late Hardy and Ruth (Knewstub) Soward. She grew up in northern Wisconsin and married Dan Stebner, raising their family in the Gilman area. They later divorced.
Marian was a homemaker, farmer and a CNA for Medford Hospital.
She is survived by her children, Cynthia (Tom) Lechleitner of Gilman, Rebecca Stebner of Eau Claire and Tim Stebner; her six grandchildren, Tracy Kunst of Derrider, La., Candy Lechleitner and Sara Fowler, both of Green Bay, Kevin Lechleitner of Gilman, William Lechleitner of Lake in the Hills, Ill., and Kyle Lechleitner of Maplewood, Minn., her two great-grandchildren, Joe and Abby Crist and her brother, Don Soward of Tomahawk.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Greg; her granddaughter, Joanie Lechleitner; her brother, Milton Soward and her sister, Joyce Logan.
A service of remembrance will be held in the spring with interment in the Donald Cemetery.
