Vacho, Deanna L. (Kirsch) (6 JUN 1947 - 20 JAN 2019)

Deanna L. Vacho, 71 of Ladysmith, passed away on Sunday, January 20, 2019 at her home, in the presence of her family.

Deanna is survived by her spouse, Daniel, her sons Daniel J. (Kathleen) of Ladysmith, WI, and Peter (Dina) of York, S.C., and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Jean (Les) Pegram, and brothers Nick (Linda) Weber, and Jim Weber.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Saturday, January 26th, 2019 with visitation beginning at 9am until 11am, with mass following at 11am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to one of the following organizations: St. Jude’s Children Hospital, Wounded Warriors Project, or the Rusk County Animal Shelter.

Deanna Lynn Vacho, 71, of Ladysmith, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019 at her home, in the presence of her family. She was married to Daniel Vacho for 49 years.

Born on June 6, 1947, in Milwaukee, Deanna was the daughter of Arthur Kirsch and Elizabeth (Herrick) Kirsch. She and Daniel graduated together in 1965 from Menomonee Falls High School in Menomonee Falls. She was employed in food service sales and, upon relocating with Daniel to Ladysmith, continued to work at IGA, later to become County Market and Gordy’s Market, in the deli until her retirement in 2009.

Deanna was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Ladysmith. She loved traveling and planting flowers in her garden. Prior to moving to Ladysmith, Deanna was a member of a bowling team for 25 years. Deanna was a positive person who touched the lives of everyone she knew. She will be remembered for her strong love of family, her caring nature, and her ability to always see the good in people.

Deanna is survived by her spouse, Daniel; her sons, Daniel J. (Kathleen) of Ladysmith and Peter (Dina) of York, S.C., and seven grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Jean (Les) Pegram and her brothers, Nick (Linda) Weber and Jim Weber.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother.
