Klay, Donna Mae (9 JUN 1973)

St. John's Lutheran Church in Cadott was the setting for the marriage of Donna Mae Klay and Anson Albarado, as their marriage vows were repeated in a ceremony conducted by Rev. Edwin R. Becker on June 9, 1973.

Mr. and Mrs. John Klay of Cadott are parents of the bride, and the parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Arsenie Albarado of Makaweli, Hawaii.

Mrs. Barbara Zastrow, a friend of the bride from Gillette, was matron of honor. Miss Linda Schefellbein, a friend from McFarland, and Mrs. Louis Klay, sister-in-law of the bride, from Minneapolis, were bridesmaids.

Mr. Wayne Olson, a friend of the groom from Osseo, was best man. Groomsmen were Dan Roedl, Beaver Dam, a friend of the groom, and Chris Klay, the bride's brother, Minneapolis. Ushers were Tony Kvapil, cousin of the bride, Chippewa Falls, Phil Strohbach and John Duffek, both friends of the groom from Minneapolis.

Lennie Olson from Osseo was ring bearer.

Linda Stark was the organist and presented "Marche Triumphant," "The Hawaiian Wedding Song," and "We've Only Just Begun." Miss Phyllis Jones accompanied herself on the guitar and sand "The Wedding Song" and "Edelweiss."

A reception following the ceremony was held at the All-purpose room of Cadott High School.

The groom is a graduate of Walmea High School, Walmea, Hawaii, and Stout State University, Menomonie. He is an Industrial Instructor at Chippewa Falls, and is employed as a carpenter this summer. The bride is a graduate of Cadott High School and is employed at St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls.

The couple's wedding trip took them to the groom's home in Hawaii. They will be making their new home at Fairview Apartments in Chippewa Falls.
