Mr. and Mrs. Edward Bayuk gave a farewell party in honor of their son Jim, who
is leaving for San Diego, California, to join the Air Force.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Backus and family of Rantoul, Illinois, attended the funeral
of her grandfather in Spencer last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Podobnik, owners and operators of Lake Side Lodge of Rock Dam,
returned after a month tour of Oregon, Canada, and Montana.
Jim Bayuk, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Bayuk, was home awhile. Jim is a doctor in
the city of Madison.
