Sischo, Leona (12 DEC 1892 – 3 JUL 1974)

Mrs. Carl (Leona) Sischo, 81, Loyal, died at 1 p.m. July 3, 1974 at Memorial Home, Neillsville, where she had been resident since May.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, with burial in the Loyal Cemetery.

The Rev. William Humlie officiated.

The Rinka Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Active pallbearers were Tony Walters, Joe Hoeser, Alvin Fravert, Art Fravert, Milton Schoenfeld, and Roy Chase.

Mrs. John Olson was organist and Mrs. Verland Dux and Mrs. Erwin Dux were soloists, and sang "Rock of Ages" and "What a Friend We Have in Jesus."

The former Leona Kronberger was born December 12, 1892 at Jefferson, Wisconsin. She received her education at the Lincoln School, Town of York (Clark Co., Wis.), and worked for several hotels in the area. She and her husband retired from farming in 1958, when they moved to the city of Loyal (Clark Co.).

She was married July 23, 1918 to Carl Sischo.

She is survived by her husband and one son, Robert, Loyal; four sisters, Mrs. William (Rose) Seidelman, Memorial Home, Neillsville; Mrs. Frank (Caroline) Morse, R. 2, Loyal; Mrs. Orville (Clara) Kelhofen, Baton Rouge, Louisiana; Miss Molly Kronberger, Owen, and three brothers, Leo Kronberger, Neillsville; Arthur Kronberger, Withee, and Frank Kronberger, Loyal.

She is survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
