Jacobi, Dorothy (Hohensee) (7 MAY 1932 - 13 NOV 2018)

Dorothy Jacobi, 86, died Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

She was born May 7, 1932 in Elderon, Wisconsin, daughter of the late Herman and Flora (Schumacher) Hohensee. On October 20, 1956 she married Lloyd Jacobi at Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Wausau. He preceded her in death on September 3, 2013.

Dorothy was a homemaker and was very active with the Ladies Aid at Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling, photography and reading.

Survivors include her son, Orin; daughters, Melissa, Linette and Jenny; five grandchildren; sister, Mildred Hegewald and numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents and husband, Lloyd, she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Wausau. Rev. Scott Holoubek will officiate. Burial will be in Mechanic’s Ridge Cemetery, town of Wausau. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services all at Trinity Lutheran Church, town of Wausau.

Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 1302 Sixth St., Wausau, is in charge of arrangements.
