Fischer, Henry F. (5 JAN 1922 – 2 JUL 1971)

Henry F. Fischer, 49, Farmington, New Mexico, died July 2, 1971 at his home. He was born January 5, 1922 at Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.). He attended school in Thorp, entering the service in November 1941, in which he spent 20 years in the Air Force, retiring as a major in 1962. Since retirement he resided with his family in El Paso, Texas, Albuquerque and Farmington, New Mexico, where he worked in the post office.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 6th at Saint John's Church, Farmington, and burial was in Fort Bless National Cemetery, El Paso, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, three daughters, Terri of Denver, Mary and Patty at home; one son, Henry, at home; his mother, Louis, of Boyd, and one brother, Charles, also of Boyd, and one grandchildren.
