Ward, Elizabeth "Betty" Anne (Haas) (18 JAN 1943 - 1 JUN 2018)

Elizabeth (Betty) Anne (Haas) Ward, passed away on June 1st at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Betty will be missed by her close neighbors Mary and Dick Metnik and Cindy Johnson all of Antigo and John and Jane Reich both of Sheldon and all the children of above families. She also has a cousin Eileen Ziesler of Ladysmith and other cousins. Betty will be missed by her neighbors Justin and Krista Baker and their three sons.

A Celebration of her life will be held Saturday, July 21st at Reichs Roadhouse in Sheldon from 1-4 PM.

Elizabeth "Betty" Anne (Haas) Ward passed away on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire.

Betty was born on Jan. 18, 1943 and was adopted nine years later by Bill an Antonette Haas. She was an only child.

The Haas farm was on Spur Road in Sheldon. She graduated from Tony High School and then worked in Chicago, Ill. and Milwaukee. From there, she went to California where she met her husband, Jack Ward.

They were married in Sheldon and went back to live in Torrance, Calif. They later moved to Milwaukee where they lived until Jack's death. After Jack died, Betty moved to Sheldon and spent her last seven years there. Betty loved children and would spend much time playing and caring for them.

She will be missed by her close neighbors, Mary (Wiacek) and Dick Metnik and Cindy (Wiacek) Johnson, all of Antigo and John Wiacek and Jane (Wiacek) Reich, both of Sheldon, and all the children of the above families, She also has a cousin, Eileen Ziesler, of Ladysmith, and other cousins.

Betty will be missed by her neighbors, Justin and Krista Baker and their three sons.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her husband.

A celebration of life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 21 at Reich's Roadhouse in Sheldon.
