Bethel Lutheran Church, Superior was the setting for the ceremony performed by Reverend Donald Brecke on July 28, 1971 at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, uniting in marriage, Debra Porath, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Porath, Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and David Mattison, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Mattison, Superior.

A wedding shower was held at Owen on the 4th of August.

The young newlyweds are employed and living at Pittsville.

David's mother, grandmother and two brothers were her from Superior for the shower.
