Rueden, Lorraine E. (Klessig) (10 SEP 1924 - 24 MAY 2018)

Lorraine E. Rueden, 93, of Marshfield, passed away on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Marshfield.

In honoring Lorraine’s wishes, her family and friends are invited to gather on Friday June 1, 2018 at Life Tributes Funeral Home in Spencer from 10AM until 1:00PM. Following the visitation, Lorraine will be laid to rest at Saint Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Colby.

Lorraine was born September 10, 1924 in the Township of Beaver in Clark County, the daughter of Leo and Catherine (Little) Klessig. Her education began in a one room country school in Clark County and later graduated from Loyal High School. She was united in marriage to Antone Rueden on May 1, 1943 in Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Colby. Sadly, Antone passed away June 29, 2000.

Lorraine was employed at the former Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield in environmental services. She was a former member of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Marshfield.

Her hobbies included reading and solving picture puzzles. She gave of her time and talents by volunteering in the community helping with funeral dinners, etc. also volunteering at Cedar Rail Court in Marshfield helping with serving meals to the residents.

She is survived by her children: Mildred Rueden-Tishmann of Altoona, Lorea (Ronald) Rueden-Manthe of Spencer, Charlotte Weister of Marshfield, and Daniel Rueden of Edgar; 14 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Antone, two daughters: Lillian Rueden-Ingles and Mary Rueden-Spatz; two sons: LeRoy and August Rueden; her grandchildren: Linda Manthe, Corina Ingles and Donovan Tishmann, Jr; one great granddaughter Kaitlyn Marie Manthe and a son-in-law Donovan Tishmann, Sr.

Her arrangements are under the care of Life Tributes Funeral Home-Spencer.
