Mr. and Mrs. Duane Lovik, Route 2, Spencer, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jane Ann, to PV-2 Jim M. Lato, Battery C., 1st Battalion, 19th Artillery, Ft. Carson, Colorado, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Lato, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.).

Jane is presently a senior at Loyal High School. Her fiancé graduated from that same school in 1973, and works in the food service department in the Army.

An October 5, 1974 wedding is being planned.
