Vogel, Eva L. (10 APR 1905 – 3 DEC 1973)

Mrs. Eva L. Vogel, 68, 1210 Fremont St., died at 9 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital, South Bend, Indiana.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's United Church of Christ, the Rev. Benjamin Moore officiating, with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.).

The former Eva Behringer was born April 10, 1905 at Manitowoc, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Behringer, and married Roy W. Vogel in December 1924, in Merrill. He died in 1958. She lived in Wisconsin Rapids for about 30 years.

Surviving are a son, John, Wisconsin Rapids; a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth Vallesky, South Bend, Indiana; two brothers, Norman, Owen, and Hugo, Wausau; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Hermann, Manitowoc; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Taylor Funeral Home from 6 p.m. today until 11 a.m. Wednesday, and at the church from 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service.

The Vogels were formerly Loyal residents.
