Rasmussen, Kathy Kae (17 NOV 1973)

St. Paul's United Church of Christ was the site of the wedding of Miss Kathy Kae Rasmussen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne A. Rasmussen, Route 1, Marshfield, and Larry E. Falconer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Falconer, Route 2, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.).

The pastor, Rev. Robert Goessling, and the Rev. Gene Carlson of the Loyal Methodist Church were co-celebrants of the 2:45 p.m. rites Saturday, November 17, 1973. Miss Judy Spindler played the organ and David Yonker strummed the guitar and sang.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her parents, selected a gown in a la mode and Cluny lace, featuring a chapel sweep train and a fingertip veil. She carried a cascade bouquet of stephanotis, red and white carnations, and red roses.

The maid of honor was Miss Elaine Falconer, Madison, and the bridesmaids were Miss Kay Stephens, Nasonville, and Miss Joanne Tesmer, Madison. Their orange satin dresses had matching headpieces, and they carried cascades of miniature carnations and roses.

Jack Kadolph, Loyal, served as best man, and groomsmen were LaMont Rasmussen, Marshfield, and Dave Walters, Loyal. Denny Strey and Mickey Braun seated guests for the ceremony, which was followed by a reception, dinner and dance at the American Legion Hall, Marshfield.

The bride, a 1972 graduate of Marshfield Senior High School, has been employed at Exclusively Yours. Her husband graduated from Loyal High School in 1971, works with B & K Roofing Company, Loyal. Upon return from a southern honeymoon, the couple will live at 146 S. Central Avenue, Marshfield.
