Baggerley, Beth Ann (20 OCT 1973)

Saturday, October 20, 1973, was the date chosen by Miss Beth Ann Baggerley to exchange wedding vows with Gary Lee Sherwood, in Pittsville. Parents of the couple are Dr. and Mrs. A. Baggerley, 505 Division Street, Loyal (Clark Co., Wis.), and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Sherwood, Pittsville.

The 5:30 p.m. ceremony was performed by Rev. E.T. Keller at St. John's Lutheran Church in Pittsville.

Furnishing music for the ceremony were Denny Krean and Larry Huebl.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride chose for her wedding gown a crepe Venice lace and motif trimmed bodice gown, with high neck, and sleeves accented with tapered ruffles. The soft trumpet skirt fell into a cathedral length train. She carried white roses, carnations and baby's breath.

Maid of honor was Vicki Baggerley, Eau Claire, Wis. Bridesmaids were Sherry Baggerley, Loyal, Mary Brey, Marshfield, and Linda Sherwood, Pittsville.

The bridesmaids chose shirt waist dresses of cotillion blue crepe. The bodice was highlighted by wide ivory lapels. The insert waist was accented by ties in the back. They carried blue tipped carnations and a peach colored rose in the center, with baby's breath.

Best man for Mr. Sherwood was Duane Brey, Marshfield, and groomsmen were Greg Davis, Wisconsin Rapids, Tom Zellner, Illinois, and Dale Baggerley, Loyal.

Ushers for the ceremony were James Jansen and Bob Iwanski.

A reception was held at St. John's at 6:30. A dance followed at the Pittsville Community Hall following the dinner.

The bride is attending the UW Wisconsin, Eau Claire. The groom is also a student at Eau Claire University.

After a wedding trip to Canada and northwester Wisconsin, the couple will make their home in Denver, Colorado.
