Nooe, Charlotte Anna (28 FEB 1989 – 11 JAN 2012)

Charlotte Anna Nooe was born in Neenah, Wis., on Feb. 28, 1989. She is the daughter of Melissa Moore Nooe and David Nooe. Charlotte died unexpectedly in her sleep Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2012, at the age of 22. To say that she is most painfully missed is grossly inadequate.

She was brilliant, beautiful and talented. Charlotte was a 2007 graduate of Oshkosh West High School and a 2011 graduate of University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. She was currently applying to Graduate School to pursue a Master of Fine Arts degree. Her ultimate goal was to attain a P.H.D. in English and become a college professor.

She was Senior Editor of The Wisconsin Review, as well as a Member of Sigma Tau Delta the International English Honors Society. She was also on the Honors List and the Dean's List. She accomplished these goals while working full-time and attending school full-time.

Music also played a large role in her life. She wrote her own music as well as singing and playing multiple instruments. She also played in the band "Charlie and the Cynics". Music was a true joy for Charlotte.

Charlotte is survived by her mother, Melissa Moore Nooe; her brother, Christiaan Moore Nooe; her grandmother, Carol Moore, Brillion; her aunt and uncle, Dan and Cheryl Bush; and cousins, Drew and Dylan Bush, Oshkosh. Also included are her father and stepmother, David and Jennifer Nooe; her two half-sisters, Nina and Ella, Nashville, Tenn.; her grandparents, Dick and Sara Nooe, Neenah; her aunt and uncle, Jim and Marikathryn Oakley; cousin, Tony Oakley, Neenah; and cousin, Sara Oakley, Los Angeles, Calif.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her grandfather, Frank B. Moore; and two great-grandmothers, Virginia Mathewson and Mary Scatchell.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012, at Algoma Boulevard United Methodist Church in Oshkosh, 1174 Algoma Boulevard, with Pastor Barry Yarbro officiating. A time for sharing support and memories will be held on Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street, and also at the church on Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
