Rohland, Sandra Kay (29 MAY 1971)

Miss Sandra Kay Rohland, 905 S. Vine Ave., became the bride of Lawrence Harlow Bosley, 612 N. Chestnut Ave., Marshfield, during a 1:30 p.m. nuptial service Saturday, May 29, 1971, in Holy Rosary Catholic Church at Owen.

Miss Rohland, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rohland, Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), said her vows with the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl R. Bosley, Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, before the pastor of the church, the Rev. George A. Becker. Louise Luedtke, accompanied by Mrs. Louise Hanse, was soloist, and the choir, which also sang, was accompanied by Sharon Laube.

For her special day, Miss Rohland had selected a floor length entrained empire gown of lace and sheer fabric. Her elbow length veil was held in place by a bow headpiece and in her bouquet were two orchids and gardenias center in white roses.

In the wedding party, Miss Susan Rohland, Ripon, was maid of honor, and Rick Bosley of Sault Ste. Marie, best man. Miss Beth Stubfors, Marshfield, Mrs. Sharon Natzke, Green Bay, and Miss Candy Kusiak, Milwaukee, were bridesmaid, with groomsmen being Ray Porter, Marshfield, Walter Bosley, Sault Ste, Marie, and Dennis P. Rohland, Whitewater.

Sharon Rohland and Sheila Rohland were junior bridesmaids, and Dennis F. Rohland and Carl L. Bosley did the ushering duties.

The bride's attendants were seen in flocked floral nylon empire style dresses in floor length, with min green underlay. The junior aides had yellow underlay in their dresses and each aide carried a gardenia centered in baby's breath.

Wedding guests were greeted by the newlyweds during a reception, dinner and dance, all at St. Hedwig's Quonset Hall at Thorp. They are now on a honeymoon to northern Wisconsin, and upon return will take up residents at 612 N. Chestnut Ave.

Mrs. Bosley, a 1965 graduate of Owen-Withee High School, and a June 16, 1968 graduate of St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing, has been employed as a registered nurse at St. Joseph's Hospital. Her husband, a graduate of Sault Ste. Marie High School, is an operator for the Soo Line Railroad.
