Bower, Diane M. (31 OCT 1970)
The wedding of Miss Diane M. Bower to Michael D. Sydow took place at the Sacred 
Heart of Jesus Church in Marshfield on October 31, 1970, at a one o'clock 
service, Father Kaiser officiated at the wedding.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Bower, Withee (Clark Co., 
Wis.), and the groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wesley Sydow of Marshfield.
The bride wore a floor length white velvet wedding gown, empire styled with lace 
trim. Her long veil was edged with appliqued daisies, and she carried a bouquet 
of pink roses and white carnations.
Attending the bride were Miss April Bower, Joan Sydow and Miss Debra Wenzel, who 
sere attired in dark red empire styled velvet gowns with short matching bow 
veils. Black shoe accented their attire and they carried bouquets of red and 
white roses and carnations.
Groomsmen were David Fischer, Daniel Fattaing and Duane Bower, all attired in 
black tuxedoes.
A reception was held following the ceremony at the Hotel Colby, with supper at 
4:30 o'clock.
The bride attended the Owen-Withee High School, while the groom attended 
Columbus High in Marshfield, and is presently employed by Weyerhaeuser and 
Karau's at Marshfield, where they are making their home…(the rest of my article
