Worden, Pamela Jean (26 NOV 1970)

The Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Owen, was the setting for the Thursday wedding, November 26, 1870, of Pamela Jean Worden and Lawrence D. Turner.

Miss Worden, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ken Worden, route 3, Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), was given in marriage by her parents to the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Turner, route 1, Withee.

The Rev. Warren Worden officiated at the 7:30 p.m. service and Miss Helen Ratzloff and Mrs. E.H. Ratzloff, both of Marshfield, were organist and soloist, respectively.

A floor length empire gown of white nylon over satin and a pillbox headpiece holding her floor length veil, accents of lace and flowers were worn by arrangement of white chrysanthemums, carnations and small roses with blue star flowers and velvet streamers.

Miss Phyllis Worden, Sheboygan, served as maid of honor in the wedding party, and Timber Turner of St. Paul, Minn., was best man. Bridesmaids included Miss Billie Jane Turner, Withee, and Mrs. Darlene Turner of St. Paul, and David Word, Greenwood (someone missing here) were groomsmen.

Ken Worden Jr. and John Bedole shared ushering duties at the church.

After the nuptial services, a reception took place in the church basement.

Mrs. Turner graduated in 197 from Greenwood High School and has been employed at the Alliance Residence in Minneapolis, Minn. Her husband, a graduate in 1964 from the Owen-Withee schools system, is an electrician's mate first class in the U.S. Navy.

This will make their home in Rota, Spain.
