Miller, Earl (22 NOV 1923 – 03 DEC 1970)

Earl Miller, 47, and lifelong resident of this community (Withee, Clark Co., Wis.), passed away Thursday, December 3, 1970, at the Colby Convalescent Home, Colby, succumbing to a lingering illness. He had been a medical and surgical patient for better than a year.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, December 5, from the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Withee, with Rev. H.W. Luetkehoelter officiating. Burial was made at Riverside Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers were Matt Bombach, Martin Keskimaki, Ronald Amacher, Vaino Talso, Leon Bruchert and Walter Klay

Mr. Miller was born November 22, 1923 in the town of Longwood in Clark County, and was married October 27, 1945 in Greenwood to Bonnie Nourse, who survives him. He owned and operated his own milk truck since he was 17 eyars of age, and lived in the Withee area all his life..

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Mark, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Tom (Diane) Peterson, River Falls; one grandson; three brothers, Ralph, Withee; and Roy and Loren, both of Owen; and four sisters, Mrs. Donald (Edna) Schelvan, Milwaukee; Mrs. James (Marie) Hanley, Stanley; Mrs. Carl (Eva) Hakes, Holcombe; and Mrs. Justin (Jean) Staples, California.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
