Malovrh, Karl E. (16 MAY 1962 - 28 FEB 2018)

Karl E. Malovrh, 55, of Medford passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at home due to natural causes.

He was born on May 16, 1962 to Edward and Lillie (Hallberg) Malovrh in Medford. He attended Medford area schools and graduated from Medford Senior High School, where he was a member of the FFA.

After schooling Karl went to work on the family farm and took over upon the passing of his father in 1990. He worked on the farm for 37 years until his passing. In his spare time Karl enjoyed snowmobiling and visiting with family and friends. He will be remembered for his great memory for history.

Karl is survived by his siblings, Katherine (Steve) Bates of Hudson, Karin (Bob) Spanbauer of Waupun, Kristi Jochimsen of FL, Charles (Katie) Malovrh of Marshfield, Kevin (Nicole) Malovrh of Wausau, and Cindy (Mike) Dassow of Medford; nieces and nephews, Ryan (Ellen) Bates, Philip Bates, Koby and Kylee Spanbauer, Alex Jochimsen, Heather (Chris) Fruit, Brenna (Erik) Haferman, Rhianna and Nicholas Malovrh, Zachary and Kayla Malovrh, and Hannah, Emily and Jake Dassow. Karl is further survived by many other family and friends.

In addition to his parents Karl is preceded in death by one nephew Eric Bates and one niece Amee Bates.

A memorial mass will take place at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, with Father Phil Juza officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 10:00 AM until the time of mass at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Karl’s name may be given to the Medford FFA Alumni.
