Carlson, Doris Arlene (8 MAR 1934 - 20 FEB 2018)

Doris Arlene Carlson, 83, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, February 20, 2018, in Green Bay.

Doris was born on March 8, 1934. She was the daughter of Jim and Edna Carlson and a longtime resident of Ladysmith prior to moving to Green Bay.

She graduated from Ladysmith High School in 1952 and attended UW-Superior. She enjoyed a career in teaching and never stopped her own continued education as she loved to read and write poetry.

Doris is survived by her son, Todd; her grandchildren, Alex and Madison of Green Bay; her sister, Mary (Jerry) Park of Bartlett, Ill. and many loving nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her twin sister, Lois and her brother, Jim.

A private celebration of Doris’ life will be held at 2360 Hawthorne Pl., Allouez, WI, 54301 on Saturday, March 10, from 3-7 p.m.
