Berseth, Debra Lynn (28 FEB 1970)

Father Alex Fraser officiated at the candlelight double ring ceremony Saturday, February 28, 1970 at 4 p.m. at St. Katherine's Episcopal Church, Owen, which united in marriage Debra Lynn Berseth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Berseth, Stanley, to Jeffrey James Stock,, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Stock, Withee (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a floor length gown with a pastel yellow skirt, the op tine white lace, which featured long full sleeves and a mandarin collar. Her shoulder length veil was held in place with a pearl and flower tiara. She carried a nosegay of yellow roses and white mums.

Kathleen Stock, Eau Claire, sister of the groom, was maid of honor, and her full length gown was lilac, with a high neck and full long sleeves, the dress accented with fine white embroidery. She carried a nosegay of white roses and lilac mus. A

Airman Craig Carlson of Cannon Air Force Base, Clovis, New Mexico, attended the groom as best man, and both men wore black suits with white carnations.

A six o'clock dinner was served at the Masonic Temple in Stanley, to honor the couple, after which a reception as held at the bride's parental home for all the wedding guests.

The couple is making their home just outside Stanley. The groom is employed in Eau Claire by Bartingale Co. as an apprentice plumber, while the bride is employed by ITT Midwestern Life, Health and Insurance in Thorp.
