Scheller, Rose A. (16 June 1892 – 27 September 1974)

Funeral services were held Monday from St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield, for Mrs. Rose Scheller, 82, a lifelong resident of that city who died September 27, at Marshfield Convalescent Center where she had resided for the past three years. The Rev. Joseph Martinson, associate pastor of St. John’s, officiated, and interment followed at Hillside Cemetery. The Rembs-Kundinger Funeral Home made the arrangements.

Mrs. Scheller, the former Rose A. Lesselyong, was born June 16, 1892, in Marshfield, and attended schools there. Her marriage to William T. Scheller took place January 16, 1909, at St. John’s. The Scheller’s celebrated their Golden wedding anniversary in 1959, and he preceded his wife in death on December 18, 1962.

Mrs. Scheller was a charter member of the Marshfield American Legion Auxiliary, and was honored by a lifetime membership.

She is survived, by two children, Mrs. John (LaNiece) Schiesel of Neillsville, and William Scheller of Merrill; by one sister, Mrs. Robert Errington of Kimberly; as well as by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
