Zurakowski, Patrick J. (13 AUG 1964 – 29 NOV 2017)

Patrick J. Zurakowski, age 53, of Thorp, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 29, 2017. Per Pat's wishes, no services will be held. Interment of cremains will held at a later date at the Sylvan Cemetery, rural Thorp.

Patrick John Zurakowski was born on August 13, 1964, in Marshfield, WI, the son of John and Frances (Soborowicz) Zurakowski. He was raised on the family farm and received his education in Thorp, graduating from Thorp High School in 1982. After completing his education, Pat worked for Lato's Construction for a short time. He later was an over-the-road truck driver going from one coast to the other, and everywhere in-between.

He had many interests, but especially enjoyed fishing, riding ATV's, calling his nieces and nephews, and visiting with friends from Oregon to Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Pat is survived by his mother, Frances Zurakowski, of Stanley; one brother, Tom (Edwina) Zurakowski of Sherwood, WI; five sisters: Jacqueline (Raymond) Vetterkind of Thorp, Judy (Steve) Ranch from Woodbury, MN, Lori (Butch) Offord of Casa Grande, AZ, Kathy (Tad) Cromley of Sarasota, FL, Karen (Joel) Stuttgen of Fall Creek; three godchildren: Eric Zurakowski, Jennifer Baures, Lillian Zurakowski; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father; and one brother, Walter Zurakowski.
