Kyllonen, Patsy Jean (Marriage – 17 August 1974)

Mr. and Mrs. Micheal Earl Sigler, who exchanged marriage vows August 17 in a 4 p.m. ceremony at the Humbird United Church of Christ before Rev. Otis Botts, are making their home on Rt.1 Merrillan.

The bride is the former Miss Patsy Jean Kyllonen, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kyllonen, Humbird. Mr. and Mrs. Leon Sigler, Rt. 2 Neillsville, are the groom’s parents.

Presented in marriage by her father, the former Miss Kyllonen appeared in an empire style gown of ivory antique linen with lace inserts complimented by a matching fingertip veil. Her bouquet included golden strawflowers and red roses accented by Lilies of the Valley.

Marlene Kyllonen, La Crosse, was her sister’s maid-of-honor, and Kathy Bliss, Park Rapids, Mn., a cousin, was her bridesmaid. They wore identical gowns of pink brocade and carried flat basket arrangements of golden strawflowers and pink mums, with baby’s breath. Matching headpieces of fresh flowers with long, pink streamers completed their ensembles.

Attending the groom were his brother, Jeffery Sigler, Wisconsin Rapids, as bestman and a cousin, Steve Sigler, also of Wisconsin Rapids, as a groomsman. Both wore ivory and brown tuxedos, as did the groom.

Serving as ushers were Douglas Kyllonen, Humbird, brother of the bride, and Jay Sigler, Wisconsin Rapids, cousin of the groom.

Kathy Micheals, Alma Center, the organist, accompanied herself, and, also accompanied Marilyn Watenpuhl, Neillsville who sang “The Lord’s Prayer.”

A reception was held in the church parlors.

The bride is a graduate of Alma Center High School and her husband, who is employed in Black River Falls, graduated from Neillsville High School.
