Heagle, Guy O. (5 AUG 1896 – 28 JUL 1970)

Guy Oliver Heagle passed away at Cypress, California July 28, 1970 from a year’s illness caused by a paralytic stroke. He was the son of the late John Heagle of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) and his first wife, Ada Alexander. He would have been 74 years old August 5, 1970.

Services were held at Rainbow Chapel July 30 at 10 a.m., the Reverend William Cowles officiating. He was buried in Rose Hill’s Mausoleum in the Rose Hills Memorial Park in California.

Mrs. Heagle and his wife Marge operated a bakery in Winona, Minnesota and later in Minneapolis for many years. They decided to retire in California about 12 years ago, where they bought a home in Garden Grove. Due to his ill health they sold their home and moved to Cypress, California.

Mr. Heagle leaves to mourn his loss: his wife, Marge; two half-sisters, Mrs. Maude Lee of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Muriel Bivans of Stanley; and one half-brother, Lawrence of Rockford, Illinois. A sister and five brothers preceded him in death.
