Sister Alice M. Henke, O.S.M., daughter of Anna Henke and the late Emil Henke of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), will celebrate 25 years as a member of the Order of Servants of Mary, Ladysmith, Wisconsin, on August 16. The celebration will consist of a Mass of Thanksgiving at 11:00 a.m. in St. Bernard's Church, Thorp. A family reunion will follow in the Thorp Park.

Sister Alice is a graduate of Thorp High School and received a B.A. in History from St. Thomas College, St. Paul, Minnesota, and a M.A. in History from Loyola University, Chicago, Illinois. She has taught in the various elementary school staffed by her order, and at present is an instructor of American History at Mount Senario College, Ladysmith. She is also president of the Rusk County Historical Society.
