Kaszubowski, Sandra Lee (6 JUN 1970)

Miss Sandra Lee Kaszubowski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Kaszubowski, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Steven Robert Meindel, son of Mr. and Mrs. Steven Meindel, Eau Claire, on Saturday, June 6, 1970, at St. Mary's Church, Lublin. Father Mathew Buba performed the three p.m. marriage ceremony. Judy Stroinski played while Victoria Slueszewski sand "On This Day", "Our Father" and "O Perfect Love."

The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose a gown of imported organza and Alencon lace embellished by tiny seed pearls. The Gibson sleeves were of satin striped organza. An A-line silhouette was accented by a huge butterfly bow and a long flowing chapel train. Her veil was a pearled Juliet cap with flower streamers, and she carried white roses and pink carnations.

Miss Pat Sauer was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Miss Mary Meindel and Miss Judy Hryniewicki. They wore gowns of pink crepe and white lace tops, styled old fashioned with full skirts, high waist, puff sleeves, high necks, ruffled bodice and French cuffs. They each carried a pink parasol with white carnations. They headpieces were pink and white bows with veils. All were styled by bride and maids.

Richard Brost was best man, and groomsmen were Larry Kaszubowski and Scott Swanke. Ringer bearers were Kurt Kliminski and Ronnie Knutson. Ushers were George Kliminski and Ronald Knutson.

The reception was held at the Thorp Legion Hall, where a supper and dance were also held.

The bride is a graduate of Thorp High School and Accredited Beauty School, and is employed with My FAir Lady in Eau Claire. The groom is a graduate of North High School and is in apprenticeship with Hoveland Sheet Metal, Eau Claire.

They will make their home at 611 1/2 Berger Avenue, Eau Claire.
