Tyznik, John (27 SEP 1895 – 3 APR 1970)

John Tyznik, 74, a resident of Route 1, Lublin (Taylor Co., Wis.), died Friday, April 3, 1970 at Victory Memorial Hospital, Stanley. He was a retired farmer.

He was born in Austria on September 27, 1895, the son of Max and Nettie Tyznik. He came to the U.S. in 1908 and they settled in the Lublin area, where he has lived ever since. He married Anna Pliska at St. John's Orthodox Church, Huron, on January 27, 1925.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 6 at St. John's Orthodox Church, Huron, with Father Emil Glocar officiating. Interment was in St. John's Cemetery.

Surviving are his wife; three sons, Anthony of Lisle, Ill., William of Columbus, Ohio, and Joe of Greenfield, Wisconsin. Two brothers, Walter of Thorp and Nick of Colby two sisters, Mrs. John (Anne) Majkowic of Milwaukee, and Mrs. Paul (Eva) Warczek of Milwaukee; also 14 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one brother.
