Twenty-six members of the Greenwood High School Class of 1942 gathered Saturday, July 22, 1972 at the Legion Hall in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) for their 30th class reunion.

The event started with a coffee hour in the afternoon, followed by a tour of the new elementary school building and Greenwood Homes, Inc. In the evening a banquet was served by the Legion Auxiliary.

After dinner Robert Worden, Master of Ceremonies, introduced the guests, Mr. and Mrs. O.P. Deuel, Madison; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Davenport, Ft. Atkinson; Miss Ruth Ludowise, Cadott; and Mr. and Mrs. Art Christie, Greenwood.

Prizes were awarded by Mrs. Robert Susa to Mrs. Melvin Schumacher for coming the longest distance, Orlando Kind for the largest waistline, Mrs. Wilbur Kehrberg for the youngest child and licking the most stamps, Mrs. Garth Luchterhand for the first reply, Charles Moore for the man with the longest hair, Mrs. Harold Mitte for the most grandchildren, Mrs. O.P. Deuel and Mrs. Robert Davenport. A gift was also present to Mrs. Susa for baking our special reunion cake and to Mr. Robert Davenport, Mrs. Donald Wells and Mrs. Melvin Schumacher for having birthdays on July 22 and 23.

Attending class members and spouses were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin (Fay) Schumacher, Enterprise, Alabama; Dr. and Mrs. Fred (Marjorie) Blix, Ladoga, Indiana; Mrs. Eugene (Lucee) Ianke, Fenton, Missouri; Charles Moore, Orland Park, Illinois; Mrs. Shirley Harms, Monroe, Wisconsin; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lindner, New Berlin' Mr. and Mrs. Allen Kindt, Menomonee Falls; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Goeke, Pewaukee; Mrs. Charles (Verna) Grabler, Greenfield; Mr. and Mrs. Fred (Lucy) Gosse, West Allis; Mr. and Mrs. Glen (Elaine) Zilk, Neillsville; Mrs. Harold (Julia) Mitte, Neillsville; Mrs. Judson (Lucille) Phipps, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Earle (Bernice) Nelson, Viroqua; Mr. and Mrs. Alfred (Marie) Thompson, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Garth (Lorraine Luchterhand, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur (Audrey) Kehrberg, Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Donald (Kathryn) Wells, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Clayton (Alice) Braun, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Humke, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Carl, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Kind, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Ken Hium, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Eldore Humke, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Robert (Dahlia) Susa, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Worden, Greenwood.

Plans were made to hold the next reunion in ten years, with Mrs. Robert Susan, Mrs. Clayton Braun, and Mrs. Glen Zilk on the planning committee.
