Phyllis Asselin, Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), is amon the 443 candidates for degrees who will be honored at La Crosse State University's 60th annual spring commencement, to be held Saturday, May 31, 1969, at 3 p.m. in Memorial Stadium.

Miss Asselin, who is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Asselin, 313 W. Main St., will receive a Bachelor of Science degree from the College of Health, Recreation and Physical Education.

As a student, she has been active in Gamma Sigma Sigma service sorority, Associated Women Student, La Crosse Ski Club,, La Crosse Board of Women Officials, and Women's Recreation Association. She was listed in Who's Who among American Colleges and Universities, and has been a cheerleader.
