Cassell, Inga (1900? – 6 MAY 1969)
Services were held Saturday, May 10th at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Morris-Hendon
Funeral Home, Asheville, N.C., for Mrs. Inga (Soli) Cassell, 68, of 15 Lynnstone
Court, Asheville, N.C., who died May 6, 1969 in an Asheville hospital after a
short illness.
The Rev. John M. Hawn officiated and burial was in Stanley Wis. later this week.
Mrs. Cassell, a native of Stanley, Wis., had lived in Asheville since 1928. She
retired in 1959 after 30 years of service as a registered nurse at Oteen VA
Hospital.
She received her nurses training at the University of Minnesota at Minneapolis.
She was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, the Business and Professional
Women's Club, the American Legion Auxiliary, Veterans of Foreign Wars, the
American Association of Retired People and the Haw Creek Garden Club.
She was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Does.
Surviving are the husband, Joseph Cassell; and a sister, Mrs. H.E. Brandsness of
Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis.
The following attended the funeral of Mrs. Joseph Cassell, daughter of the late
Mr. and Mrs. Victor Soli, from out of town: Joseph Cassell, Asheville, N.C.,
Mrs. Conrad Soli, Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Soli, Sheboygan, Mr. James Soli,
Chippewa Falls, Mrs. Gust A. Soli Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. G.V. Soli, both of
L'Anse, Michigan, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Soli, Escanaba, Michigan, Mrs. Harry
Simonson, Mrs. Donald Simonson, and Mrs. Alvin Farms, all of Eau Claire, and
Mrs. Einar Brandsness of Marshfield.
