Roberts, Judy A. (29 JUN 1950 - 22 DEC 2016)

Judy A. Roberts, age 66, passed away on Dec. 22, 2016 at Agrace HospiceCare in Madison, with her loving daughter and a dear friend at her side.

Judy was born on June 29, 1950 in Kansas City, Mo. to Frank J. and Joanne (O’Brien) Roberts. As a young child, the family moved to Medford where Judy attended Medford Schools and graduated in 1968. She attended UW–Eau Claire and later returned to Medford where she raised her daughter, Heather (Schnorr) Reese.

Judy worked for many years at Weather Shield Mfg. in Medford, and later for several years at the former Northwest Trucks in Abbotsford before moving to Madison in 1999.

Judy had a love for life and embraced family, friends and many interests and pursuits: spending time outdoors in search of wildflowers and birds; gardening; quilting and card making; she also enjoyed live music and the theater, all in the company of wonderful friends.

She is survived by her daughter; Heather (Eric) Reese; mother, Joanne Roberts; stepmother, Alice Roberts; brother, Mike (Sue) Roberts; sister, Linda Kenny; and beloved cousins, nephews, nieces and dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank J. Roberts.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Judy’s honor to Friends of Wisconsin Public Television or the Agrace Foundation.
