Hemersbach, Linda H. (7 SEP 1968)

St. Mary's Catholic Church, Greenwood, was the scene for the marriage ceremony of Linda H. Hemersbach and Henry R. Budzinski on Saturday, September 7, 1968. Father L. A. Koopman performed the 11:30 a.m. marriage ceremony. Darlene Fontaine played while St. Mary's Choir sang.

Parents of the couple are: Mr. and Mrs. Alfonse Hemersbach of Owen (Clark Co., Wis.), and Henry E. Budzinski of Thorp and Rosemary Budzinski of Medford.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore an A-line floor length white gown styled with scalloped lace, long bell sleeves, long matching train, and matching mantilla She carried a bouquet of large glomelias with cascading ivy and stephanotis.

Mrs. Marcia Gannon, sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and bridesmaid was the groom's sister, Miss Barbara Budzinski. They wore gold velvet floor length A-line gowns featuring long bell sleeves. They wore cabbage rose headpieces made from matching velvet, and they each carried bronze mums with a trail of ivy hanging from them.

Flower girl was Carla Gannon, niece of the bride.

Robert Gannon, brother-in-law of the bride, was best man, and groomsman was Dennis Karnopp, friend of the groom. Ushers were Steven Budzinski and Louis Budzinski Jr.

A 2:00 dinner was held at St. Mary's Hall, with a reception at the home of the bride's parents.

The bride is a 1966 graduate of Greenwood High School and is employed as a receptionist at Thorp Finance Corp., and he as an IBM Computer Programmer.

After a wedding trip to the Bahamas, they will reside at 208 E. Rusch St., Thorp.
