Sulik, Mr./Mrs. Joseph (Gold – 28 MAY 1969)

The fiftieth wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sulik of Abbotsford, which occurred May 28, 1969, was celebrated Saturday, May 31, 1969. The day's festivities began with an 11 o'clock mass at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Emil Hodnik officiating.

A family dinner followed at Medo-Farms, Abbotsford, and in the afternoon and evening other relatives and friends joined Mr. and Mrs. Sulik at an open house at their home.

With them were four daughters and three sons-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Neva) Decker, town of Little Black; Mrs. June Rudesill of West Allis; Mr. and Mrs. James (Jocile) Peterson, and Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Mary Ann) Gebert of Wausau; twelve grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The former Verena Langbecker and Joe Sulik were married at Abbotsford May 28, 191. They farmed two miles northwest of Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) most of their married life. In 1952 they retired from farming and moved to Abbotsford.
