He enjoyed all sports including bowling and skiing. He was passionate about pool and watching Badger and Packer football games. Alfred was a member of the area church dartball teams and often kept the records for the games and arranged for the trophies for the yearly banquets. He took pride in his work, always trying to help others along. Alfred loved people. He liked talking with friends and relatives and meeting new people. Alfred helped organize many high school class reunions and family reunions. He had an infectious laugh and loved a good story.
