Ringle, Ellsworth D. (22 AUG 1939 - 23 AUG 2012)

Ellsworth D. Ringle, 73, Edgar, died Thursday August 23, 2012 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.

Funeral services will be 5:00 p.m. Tuesday August 28, 2012 at the Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, Marathon. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. Tuesday until the time of services at the Marathon funeral home. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau.

He was born August 22, 1939, in Wausau, son of the late Herbert and Leona (Zank) Ringle. On July 20, 1976, he married Eleanora (Baumann) Jacob at St. Stephen Lutheran Church, Edgar. She preceded him in death February 11, 2004.

Prior to his retirement, Ellsworth was a dairy farmer. He enjoyed his life on the farm, tending to his animals and tinkering with his tractors and equipment.

Survivors include 11 step-children, Shirley Witz, Colby, Roy (Karyn) Jacob, Athens, Gene (Rose Ann) Jacob, Mosinee, Gloria (Lyle) Jaegler, Merrill, Grace (Bob) Patyk, Lake Geneva, Walter Jacob, Glen (Bonnie) Jacob, Athens, Susan (Steve) Sawyer, Marathon, Bruce Jacob, Edgar, Rose Jacob, Milwaukee, Rachel (Steve) Doran, Edgar, 27 step grandchildren, 30 step great grandchildren, special cousins, Quentin (Donna) Ringle, Edgar and Donna (Daniel) Kaldunski, Edgar.

Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by one step grandchild and two step great grandchildren.
