Anding Switches Focus to family and consumer education
Michelle Anding
By Todd Schmidt
Michelle Anding, 36, is the new family and consumer education teacher in the
School district of Neillsville.
Anding is a 1998 graduate of Greenwood High School. She continued her education
at Mid-State Technical College, graduating in 1999 as a surgical technologist.
She spent the past 17 years working in the healthcare field, before deciding to
switch her focus to being a teacher.
Anding plans to become a member of the professional organizations Wisconsin
FCCLA and WAFCA. She was recently named as FCCLA advisor at Neillsville High
School.
She resides in Willard with her husband, Matt. They have children, Alyssa, 22,
Alisyn, 8, and Braelyn, 7.
Anding has been enjoying her new role in education.
“What an amazing opportunity to work with a great school district, students and
their families,” Anding said.
